Mike and Tom went on another moose adventure this fall. They flew into a lake about 100 miles North of Bethel in the Yukon basin. Tom shot a nice bull. They had moose all around them and shot many with a camera.

Star Fish
There were hundreds of these star fish on the beach at low tide.

Baton Down the Hatches!
A high, high tide during a storm had us worried that the boats would float away. We moved them above the high tide mark and made sure they were tied well. Then back into the cozy cabin with a great view.

Hesketh Island Cabin
My Wisconsin buddies, Chris and Shannon, met me for an Alaskan road trip this fall. I met Chris in Anchorage and we drove down to Anchor Point to visit Shanon at her cabin. The next day we took the water taxi to Hesketh Island were we arranged to rent a cabin on the beach with sea kayaks. It was a great to spend a weekend an Ocean Beach. Storms kept us off the water. But the Island had plenty of board games and a great sauna.
