First of the Season
Nolan is a happy boy! He went on to have a beautiful point on the next covey. He scented them from several hundred yards.
First of the Season
This is our first wild ptarmigan of the season. Nolan has a satified look on his face after finding this bird down.
Self Portrait Plus 1
Another fall in Bethel for these two. The weather has been great. Tom has been busy flying Fiona while Andrea practices here photography skills. Work has kept us busy. We are 4 weeks into the school year and Tom has been promoted to Deputy Manager of the Refuge. Seldom a dull moment.
Self Portrait Plus 1
The tripod was handy so it was time for a timer portrait. Fall in the tundra makes a nice backdrop. We were out "shooting" for the day. Me with a camera Tom with a gun. Tom shot 2 ptarmigan and I shot the macros and landscapes that will be posted on Flickr
