The Bad River Watershed Association is operated by volunteer members. The association needs a variety of volunteers to keep us running. Here are some ideas of existing volunteer opportunities with BRWA:
Water Quality Monitoring
- We have sites available for macroinvertebrate monitoring. Contact Valerie Damstra at 682-2669 for more information.
Culvert Inventories
- We have completed inventories on 700 of the 1,100 road-stream crossings in the watershed. If you are interested in checking out some crossings near you to help us determine if they are fish passage barriers, call Michele Wheeler at 682-2003.
Help in the office
- If you'd like to support the work of BRWA from a warm, dry location, we can use some help in the office.
Website
- Have some ideas for us on this website? Have some experience working with web sites? We could use your help. Call Michele Wheeler at 682-2003
Newsletter articles
- We publish our newsletter, Watershed Waves, quarterly. If you would like to contribute an article, contact our Secretary Pam Roberts at 682-7123.
