Bikes in Bethel?

I was debating whether or not we should bring our bikes to Bethel.  But it looks like biking is big sport.  However I don’t expect we will be biking the Kuskokwim River. I found a wild site about a couple of guys who biked hundreds of miles down the Kuskokwim River. You can check out their site and watch some video here.  They also have a lot of photos on Flickr. It gives you a good idea about the villages along the river too.
